This month’s Animals’ Message is a tough one for me - as you’ll hear me explain in the video. And yet…. there is a lot in this word “Accept.” What is so supportive, however, is how the animals help us view Accept just as the dictionary defines it: “to receive something offered willingly.” To take it one step further, the animals share that the “something” is always a gift.
Yet, how do we Accept? Even in really hard times? Can we begin to view events, our emotions, our animals’ lessons as gifts offered willingly?
Here are just a few of the themes I touch on in this month’s video on ACCEPT:
Embracing Acceptance Through Animal Messages
Embracing Grief for Personal Growth
Acceptance as a Way of Being vs. a System of Thinking
If, after watching the full Animals’ Message, you have questions and/or want to discuss further, we’ll be meeting on March 11 at 1:30pm to discuss ACCEPT. To join the conversation, consider becoming a paid subscriber, if you aren’t already (thank you if you are!). I’ll send the Zoom link the day before we meet. I can’t wait to hear what all this activates for you and how your animal is helping work with ACCEPT!

and Chani Nicholas who have great information on the Venus Retrograde in Aries that is affecting all of us. For me, it’s hitting my 9th House of education, religion, astrology and philosophy. Part of the reason Hildegard appeared in my meditation the other day!So who is the mystic I spoke with, Hildegard von Bingen?
Between the summer of 1098 and the autumn of 1179, a remarkable German woman lived eighty-one years at a time when half that long was considered a full life. The Über-multitasking Frau, this Benedictine nun founded two convents; organized the first-ever public preaching tours conducted by a woman; authored nearly four hundred bold letters to popes, emperors, abbesses, abbots, monks, nuns, and laypeople; worked as healer, naturalist, botanist, dietary specialist, and exorcist; composed daring music; crafted poetry with staying power; wrote the first surviving sung morality play; and spent decades writing three compelling theological works. Meet the incomparable Hildegard of Bingen.

And by the way, she stood up to the Pope when he began to lead all followers away from our connection to and integration with, Nature. She believed God was everywhere - so why would we disconnect from it? If only he had listened to her. And yet, to accept that this was the path we were to be on in an effort to appreciate the gift of that connectedness, I think that’s the key.
Have a great month everyone! And let me know how your animal is helping you ACCEPT.

FYI - Bookshop.org is where I prefer to get my books as all purchases support independent booksellers as well as my small business. Please don't feel you need to buy it via this link - it's just my preferred way to share books. If you do decide to buy it via this link - thank you.
